OUT OF CONTROL
by Donna and Ev
(NC17)
Katherine's *dance* with Connor seemed to fire her up even more. Her feet were moving to the music being played before they even made it back into the main room of the club. Giving him another deep but brief kiss she released him and reached into the virtual grab bag of yummy men milling around the bar, she came up with Indiana Jones and hauled his unresisting body out onto the dance floor with her. Connor grinned at her and seeing that Ev was not *busy* at the moment he grabbed her around the waist and steered her off to the dance floor herself. As he and Ev danced to an old rock and roll song, he caught glimpses of Kat and Indy apparently having a very good time together.
As the evening progressed, he began to lose track of who all had danced with her. He knew she had disappeared once with John Clayton to the back rooms but as soon as she had returned she was once again back out on the dance floor, this time with Rayden's father, Theron. She had long since lost any inhibitions out on the dance floor and her hands roamed as freely over his body as they had John's just a short time before. And Theron was obviously not complaining one bit about the attention she was giving him.
Every five or six dances, Connor would go out and physically drag her off the dance floor to make her drink something and try to get her to sit down and rest. But she was so restless she would only sit for a moment before she jumped up and returned to the dance floor. It looked like she was really having fun, but there was something about the growing wild look in her eye that concerned him. As he watched Kat drag another willing victim out onto the dance floor, he wandered across the room to where Rayden was standing with Jathelle and Theron, talking quietly amongst themselves.
"Hello, Connor!" Rayden said brightly. He was watching Ev and John Clayton dance together. Connor glanced over at Ev and smiled. She was going about it just as enthusiastically as Kat was.
"Rayden, have you noticed, anything strange about the way Kat is reacting to all this?" he asked as nonchalantly as he could.
Rayden nodded. "We've been monitoring her. All these wonderful highly charged sexual feelings around here have caused her to get a little out of control. There are just too many people here all feeling the same way and it appears to be overwhelming her. She seems to be handling it ok for now." There was a look of concern on his face. "If it gets much worse, you might have to take her home."
"I've already suggested that," Connor said with a sigh. "She said she was having too way too much fun and didn't want to go."
As they watched her, the song ended and Katherine stood looking around, a slightly dazed expression on her face. When she saw Giles coming in the door wearing nothing but his lab coat she tried to make her way to the door to greet him, but Lady beat her to it.
She turned, a disappointed look on her face and snagged the nearest man standing around and doing nothing to take her back out on the dance floor.
Rayden rested his hand on Connor's shoulder and said, "Don't worry. We are watching her. Go enjoy yourself as well." With that, Jathelle hooked her arm in his and suggested they go do a little dancing of their own.
Several songs later, Katherine left the dance floor and went on the prowl. She was obviously looking for someone in particular, and her face lit in a big smile when she spotted John Prudhomme hiding in a corner. Taking him by the hand, she drug him out to the dance floor. Connor was dancing with Ev at the time, and the smile on her face matched Katherine's.
"All right," Connor said accusingly. "What are you two up to now?" Ev just laughed and tickled his bare ribs. "We've been tag teaming him all night. I think after Kat gets done firing him up this time, he will be *all* mine."
Connor chuckled and held Ev close while they dance, keeping an amused eye on what was going on across the dance floor. Kat was showing him absolutely no mercy and was using every trick in the book to get his total and complete attention. And for once, the Cajun seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself. By the end of the dance, he was using his hands as freely as Katherine had been. The long highland shirt she was wearing was now completely unlaced in front, giving her dance partners plenty to see and play with if they wished.
Connor steered Ev over towards the gyrating couple and when the music ended, they switched partners, and a gleeful Ev led the shell-shocked looking detective off the dance floor and towards the back rooms. Katherine flowed into his arms, a very smug look on her face. "You had way too much fun doing that to the poor man," Connor said with a chuckle. He then took her hand in his and led her off the floor as well. He found an empty chair and sat down in it, pulling Katherine up onto his lap and holding her until her breathing and heart rate returned to normal, her hand idly playing with the hair on his bare chest as she rested.
She only stayed a few minutes more, before jumping up and racing off, a wild look in her eyes. She tackled Jeremy and the two of them went out into the floor together. Several dances later, Connor was busy chatting with Toni, when her sharp intake of breath made him turn around. Kronos had managed to push her current partner aside and was now dancing with Kat! Connor and Toni both plunged into the crowded dance floor, trying to make their way across the room to her.
But if Katherine had noticed the change in partners she gave no outward sign. It was as if she was in some type of trance. Her eyes were closed and she was continuing to dance on with the same manner of seductive movement that had been so entertaining to all the partners she had danced with before, her hands running over his body as his did the same to hers. Connor's jaw tightened in anger but since Kat did not seem upset or in danger, there was nothing he could do. Sweeping Toni into his arms, he started to dance with her, making sure they were never more than a few steps away. If the K'immie was aware of Connor's eyes burning a hole through him, he did not show it either.
Katherine danced on, totally lost in the music and the raw emotions of the people around her, totally oblivious to whose hands were running up and down her body. As her now almost frenzied dance continued, her focus expanded until she could feel the emotions of each and every person in the room. As all thoughts and feelings rushed in, something snapped inside her, and it was as if she was now caught in a raging storm, her mind being battered by an uncontrolled onslaught of all the raw emotions of the Simcitizens. While her mind shrank away from the storm, her body continued to dance unconsciously on.
As the voices that now completely enveloped her mind threatened to destroy her, she became aware of a dark, threatening presence near her. Something about it was more fearful than the voices. Gathering the emotional storm about her, she focused it and then released it into the dark mind that was shadowing her. As the darkness retreated, the faint sound of a far off voice calling her name somehow managed to cut through the noise, provided her an anchor to cling to.
The familiar voice became louder and louder, and the other voices began to fade back into the background, and the empath’s battered mind became slowly aware of herself again. When Katherine opened her eyes, she found she was being held tight in Connor's arms. Toni was standing by his side, a small gun in her hand. As she turned her head, she saw Kronos on his knees on the floor in front of her, his head hanging down, gasping for breath.
Confused and shaking; she looked up to see Rayden pushing the crowd aside that had gathered around her so he could get to Katherine. Rayden went to Katherine's side, a worried look on his face. He gently probed her mind to see what her condition was, then he turned to Kronos, who was just sitting up, a dazed look on his face. He sighed.
"Toni, you don't need the gun this time. It seems that he was drawn into Katherine's frenzy. This was not his fault." He turned his attention back to Katherine. "Are the voices still as loud, or have they stopped now?"
Katherine looked up at him, her body drenched with sweat, a strange look on her face. She was beginning to shake uncontrollably. None of this made any sense to her at all. He touched her mind again and then he could hear all the voices in the background. Rayden stroked her face, radiating calm to her. "I'll need to take her somewhere quiet. Where she can't hear everyone." He looked to Connor, and at his nod, the white-haired god and Katherine disappeared in a shower of sparks. They reappeared in his mountain cabin, far away from anyone else.
As the voices all vanished the instant they had arrived, Katherine's legs gave out from under her and she collapsed like a puppet with it's strings cut. Rayden caught her and kissed her forehead as he carried her to the bed. He got her settled comfortably and laid beside her, carefully searching her mind to decide how best to handle this situation. She seemed to be all right physically, nothing some sleep and a meal wouldn't cure. But the voices had to be controlled. She had drifted off into an uneasy sleep for the moment. He sat with her, thinking.
He was somewhat amazed the way her empathic abilities were expanding. He had always known she had the potential for a lot more than she allowed herself to do. He wanted to protect her, but at the same time, he didn't want to put a cap on the growth of her mental gifts. He searched his memory and found nothing that seemed helpful. He finally contacted Jathelle. She considered the problem and finally the two of them found what they hoped would be a good solution. Rayden laid beside Katherine, stroking her cheek as he saw she was dreaming and uneasy.
Her eyes fluttered and she stirred, moving into his arms. Then she woke up with a start, and looked around. She had no idea where she was! She looked down at the man who she had been lying with and said, "Rayden? What is going on here?"
He smiled at her and asked gently, "Do you remember the party and what happened there?"
"I remember dancing, With John Prudhomme, I think. Then sitting on Connor's lap. Then.... then Jeremy I believe, after that it is a blurr".
He sighed and brushed some stray hair from her face. "That is better than I hoped. But there was more. Do you remember the voices overwhelming you? Do you remember dancing with Kronos at all?"
"Kronos! I danced with Kronos? Are you joking, Rayden?" But no sooner had the words came out of her mouth then her photographic memory kicked in. "Oh, my God," she whispered, her face completely drained of color.
"You were out of control. We were keeping an eye on you. He didn't hurt you. He was caught up in it too, from being so close. It was time for us to intervene and help you come back to yourself."
He took her into his arms, comforting her. "We need to find a way to control the voices without harming your powers. Mother and I think we have found the solution." He stroked her cheek. "It might be better if you get a little rest first, and a meal. I don't want you overdoing anything."
"A bite to eat would be ok," she said. "But for some strange reason, I don't feel tired. I should be, I know, but I'm not."
He carefully determined that she really wasn't tired. He knew that sometimes she didn't like to admit it. He sensed that she had other needs at the moment than just food. He let his hand trail along her body, his touch just a little bit electric. As his hand reached the bottom of the shirt, it slid up underneath to stroke the smooth skin beneath.
Her eyes glittered in mischief as his hand caressed her body. Then she leaned over and let her lips gently brush his. Then ever so slowly, she began to dance again, this time to some music that was playing in her head. He smiled and kissed her, letting it deepen as she responded to him. The music seemed to project to him and he moved with her in this new dance. His hands eased the shirt off her as hers worked at his tunic.
Soon they were both unencumbered with clothes. Their dance was slow, but extremely sensual. Their hands softly caressed each others bodies as they moved in almost perfect unison. He kissed her face, her neck, her shoulders, as his hands found their way to her breasts and gently stroked her nipples. His body moved against hers, and he could feel her passion feeding into his own.
His body swaying to the music in their heads, he lifted her up off her feet. She draped her arms around his neck and hooked her legs around his hips; his hard manhood teasingly close to where she wanted it to be. He teased her as long as he could manage it and, still moving to the music, slid slowly inside her. As the music continued, he added some new movements to the dance as he combined the most ancient of dances with the same rhythm.
As they danced, his mind joined hers. There was no rush or frenzy to their lovemaking, just a slow, gradual buildup of pleasure. There was no real way of knowing how long the dance continued. For them, nothing existed outside their bodies and the pleasure that seemed to be soaring to impossible heights.
When the point came where the mountain top was about to be reached, he danced over to a wall and holding her up against it, he increased the strength and depth of his thrusts. Finally, there was no holding back and as one, they slipped over the cliff together into a pulsing mindless ecstasy that seemed to go on and on.
Katherine sobbed with relief as the sexual tension that had been building up in her all evening flowed out her completely, leaving her completely drained, yet strangely refreshed. Rayden carried her back to the bed and the both laid down, striving to catch their breath.
He cuddled against her, happy in the intense afterglow, content to just "be" for a while. As he caught his breath, a slow smile spread across his face and he chuckled softly. He spoke barely above a whisper, it was all he could do at the moment. "It seems that helping you generally turns into a very pleasant experience." He kissed her cheek and smiled into her eyes.
She softly murmured an affirmative and snuggled against his chest, totally relaxed. They lay that way for awhile, while he played lazily with her hair, when suddenly he felt her body stiffen and a sense of wonder and awe almost explode into his own mind. He held her, marveling at this new expansion in her awareness. "Tell me what you feel. Is this the way you expected it would be?" He paused, thinking back. "Ev never felt that. Her talents seem to lie in another direction. Describe it to me. Please?"
She seemed to have difficulty at first expressing the joy she was feeling, and his chest was wet from her tears of happiness.
Finally she sat up and rested her hand on belly and said, "I felt her, I really did. For a moment we were joined together. There were no words, but I felt she knew me already." She paused, taking a deep breath, her face radiant with happiness. "And then I saw her, Rayden. I saw my baby! Both as she is now and how she will be. And she is beautiful!"
