Christopher Lambert stars as Hudson Santeek in the 1996 movie "North Star". The year is 1899 and Nome, Alaska. Hudson Santeek runs up against the town's unwritten rule, Mining boss Sean McLennon has the gold and he makes the rules. When he falsely lays claim to the rich lode Hudson vowed to protect because it's on land his Inuit ancestors hold sacred, Hudson hold's McLennon's mistress hostage. A wild chase across the Alaskan landscape ensues as Hudson struggles to stay alive and lethal.
